Overview

Leveraging my product design experience, which includes two successful Kickstarters collectively gaining around one hundred thousand in funding, I focused on manufacturing insights over profit this time. Despite never launching on Kickstarter, this EDC screwdriver is my favourite, and I've enjoyed its functionality and uniqueness for two years.

My Approach

For this personal endeavor, I set out to design an EDC (Everyday Carry) screwdriver with a unique twist. It needed to accommodate replaceable bits that were non-proprietary, allowing the use of any standard 6.35mm driver bit. By shortening the typical bit length, I created space for six bits, while also incorporating a 90-degree bit drive for added leverage and versatility.
