This project focused on improving Sesto’s in-store presentation and reducing the maintenance issues that came with the original red cardboard display bins. While the eco-friendly approach was a good start, the bins weren’t suited to holding heavy fasteners long-term. I sourced custom wooden replacements, painted in Sesto red, working directly with a manufacturer in China to get the balance right between durability, cost, and appearance.

The label system also needed an overhaul. With thousands of SKUs, outsourcing printing had become slow and expensive. I introduced an in-house colour label printer, which made updates and replacements faster and more consistent across the range. Each label was redesigned for clarity, all key technical data is easy to read, and QR codes link directly to the product’s testing and certification documents.

To support the new system, I created floor stickers, vertical bay displays, and navigation cards to make information clearer for customers and staff. I also developed a nationwide layout schematic to guide how products are displayed in stores, flexible enough to suit different shelf setups, but ensuring best-sellers stay at eye level.

The result is a more practical, consistent, and informative merchandising system that supports both store teams and end customers.
